The African American Health Program’s mission is to eliminate health disparities and improve the number and quality of years of life for African Americans and people of African descent in Montgomery County, MD.

The organization’s focus areas are on Cancer, Diabetes/Heart Health, Maternal and child Health, Mental Health, Oral Health and STI/HIV and AIDS. The African American Health Program also offers fitness and weightloss programs, services to seniors and Men’s Health.

The organization offers health promotion classes and disease prevention programs and health screenings.
