The Montgomery County Language Minority Health Project, “Proyecto Salud”, is a project that was launched in response to a door-to-door survey conducted in 1994 in our local, Hispanic community. In response to this study, the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services tasked its Latino Outreach Initiative with meeting this need by forming a unique, innovative public/private partnership, with a stated mission: “To outreach to the language minority community of Montgomery County and to improve the health status of this community through health services, health education, and disease prevention.”
Proyecto Salud Clinic seeks to provide high quality, culturally competent, and affordable primary healthcare services to its patients.
